Joel is the owner of Shuppbooks and Tax, LLC and has over 22 years of tax and accounting experience.

Joel credits his dad, Joel W. Shupp for being his biggest inspiration throughout both his personal and professional life. Family is extremely important to Joel. He treats his clients as part of his extended family by immediately creating a welcoming environment. He is compassionate, personable, relatable and has a way of putting people at ease. This is what differentiates Joel from his colleagues. Joel's clients leave feeling confident and not only look forward to returning for their following visit, but often share their favorable experience with others.

Joel is a University of Akron Alum and is the Financial Secretary for United Polish Club of Elyria. He lives in North Ridgeville with his wife, Shannon and four children, Emma, Ashton, Joey and Alex. He enjoys spending time with his family, Jeeps, Mustangs and boating.
